JACK &
GRACE

Media Training // Video // Message Development

Captured World provided a full day media training course for purpose-led communications agency, Jack & Grace.

Hosted at our in-house TV & Radio studio, London Broadcast, the course focused on handling broadcast media interviews, and developing a clear set of brand messages to fit each format. Our training is centred on the belief that the only way to get comfortable with broadcast media is through practical experience. Being based in a working studio, the course was exercise intensive, with each member of the team having several opportunities to experience the broadcast studio environment and try out brand messages in reality.

At the start of the day, the team discussed existing challenges the brand was facing with gaining broadcast media coverage and handling requests, as well as receiving an overview of key hints and tips of presenting in broadcast. The remaining sessions were a series of practical interviews and review. After each set of interviews, the team would gather in the conference room for a comprehensive playback session and analysis.

  • TV 'Breakfast Sofa' News Interview

  • Radio Studio Interview

  • Down the line 'earpiece' interview

  • Zoom Call Interview

  • Radio Call-in interview

The course was led by Captured World Director, Rob Double, former Head of New for the British Army and BBC Producer, with technical support from the Captured World studio crew.

At the end of the day, each participant received copies of their interviews for records, and to watch-back at a later date.
